2021 World Championship Snowmobile Watercross

The World Championship Snowmobile Watercross is held each year in July at Memory Lake Park in Grantsburg, WI. The event is held Friday, Saturday and Sunday and features the top racers from the United States, each hoping to capture the World Champion honor and the large cash purse. 2021's event will look a little different.
The thrill of racing snowmobiles over water has attracted thousands of spectators each year. Spectators and racers alike enjoy panoramic views of Memory Lake. There is plenty of spectator room, plus camping facilities, displays, food and beverage vendors, kids play area and other activities.
Watercross begins on Friday with IWA racing action starting at 3 p.m. and be done about 6 p.m. Visit the local businesses in Grantsburg for live music and other special events in the evenings. Racing continues on Saturday and Sunday, ending around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday when the champions are determined.
Whether you are a snowmobile enthusiast or not, Watercross will provide you with a most unusual and enjoyable summer experience. Plan to spend the weekend by camping or staying at our local motel or B&B. Find more lodging options in the county here.
